Found this really cool place a few days ago. Doesn't it look like a high way? You can't see it but there's actually a whole lane of grass in the middle... And it's really really windy up there. (Thank god for my hoodie). I think it's actually a reservoir lol.
Funny thing i heard today at work: "tanktanktanktanktanktaNK-TANK!!!" LOL
I'm hungry :(

Is this the Marine Barrage? It's a beautiful place!
I thought it was Marina Barrage too. Haven't visited the place yet, but first time seeing people going there at night. ^^

And WaveSurfer, going there at night is nice lol and cooling! Maybe you can bring your family there after dinner or something lol :)
Yes, we went around 2 am with some friends and went over to Lau Pa Sat for some chilli stingray after that. It was awesome.
It's impossible to reach without a car though.
yeah... I ventured into a resort contruction site while finding my way there lolz...
It's Marina Barrage, nice overview of the city hall, esplanade, shenton way area, u can get up close n personal with the pump room n the flood gates too if u walk n explore every single bit of the place :D
Other than that, it seems like a new camping hotspot to me... if u can relate to east coast park n changi beach lolz...
haha yeah.. its a nice place. Saw lots of families gathering there as though it were the beach haha.. just that i don't think they allow the setting up of tents :p
