HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Remember to stick to your resolutions! I already made mine, and i just want to be happy lol.
My term of Happiness = to be healthy, lucky, safe, to have the money (to spend and save), to have the time to spend time with family and buds lol
Ok, my resolution doesn't just apply to me, but to my dear ones and friends~

And guys, besides wishing more of this and that, don't forget to treasure what/who you have... i realized this the hard way. But anyway,

Oh, and i'll be starting work on Friday :)
At a game shop in AMK... can't wait till Feb because i'll be transferred to Cine by then hopefully lol...

Some of you may think what's a degree graduate doing in retail line (one of my ex-classmate said it's lame -_- how mean)... well, i'm only doing this part time... (and i'm not telling my family coz they'll be totally against it lol) and i'll probably keep a look out for another part time job that's related to what i studied - mass comm. Don't wish to stick to one thing only =x

Oh well, good luck to me. I can only hope for the best for the new year ^^

I suppose you guys will probably know how i'll spend my New Year's Eve and New Year day itself... yup, World of Warcraft! Finally, after 1 week of not being able to play lol.

I'm sorry but this means that you'll hardly see me on Live for awhile =x Ok, i'll try not to be gone for too long lol. But if anyone needs people for Left 4 Dead sessions, or some kind soul willing to help me finish up GOW2, let me know :)

Voldo Wins

Voldo is like one of my favourite characters from Soul Calibur. It's entertaining to watch him battle out with all of his 'gay-ish' movements lol. Watch it and you'll find the Gears Roll'd video that i posted previously is quite crappy lol. You got to give those guys credit for taking time to do all that coordination/cheorography!



I've been really sleepy the entire day (..should have known better to stick to what the doctor prescribed) and watching this video cracked me up lol. There goes my Saturday, wasting it all at home sleeping =/

Oh, and believe it or not, i'm still patching wow... and i've yet to install BC and WOTLK because my brother left it with his friend -_- i don't know when i'll get to play but i know for now that i really don't feel like doing anything else but wait. . . i've already thought about my next character and the name for it lol

How many more days till the new year? 4.
Nope, not looking forward to it. Not ready to end this year yet. :(

Well, nothing much to be merry about. Is it me or is the Christmas mood totally dead this year? I couldn't even be bothered to go out and hunt for presents the last few days. But i did my shopping today (yes on Christmas day lol)..

Today is like any other normal day... skipped church, went to Cine, chatted with friend, ate dinner, traded game and chatted some more etc lol. No stupid santa hats, no gathering with friends, no turkey feast, nothing special at all lol! I guess i'll stay home for New Year's Eve/New Year. What will the new year bring i wonder?

I'll be trying out GHWT tomorrow if i'm free.. thanks :)
And my WoW trial expires tomorrow... lol

Took my first bat ride yesterday :)
Although it was a short ride, from Undercity to Sepulcher, it was pretty cool haha. (i'm looking forward to that 11mins bat ride XD)

3 more levels to go before i reach 20. About 3 days to go before my trial account expires.
Battle chest is sold out everywhere i went so far. Probably will get it through online or Funan. But for me, i'm still not sure if i REALLY want to get the game yet. True, i'm addicted. I don't usually wake up at 9 or 10am to play lol... but i really don't want to start waiting for maintenance time to be over (which means waking up at 3 or 4am just to check and play =s damn...) lol..travelling around without a mount is a pain in the ass too... in real life if i were to walk that much, i'd be super thin!

I sort of miss L4D. It seems to be the New Counter Strike game lol.. saw so many people playing it at Cine... i feel like trying out the PC version too :(

And i seriously don't mind working in a game shop XD
But my parents will certainly mind.. oh well :( speaking of which, they'll be back today from their long trip and if they see me gaming like this, i'll be dead.

Went around looking for Battle Chest around Suntec early in the morning... sold out sold out sold out -_-" in the end i bought a pair of jeans with the money, not to make myself feel better but because i forgot the money was actually meant for the game. OH WELL. Let's see, i started playing on Wednesday... so i still have about 6 more days to go. Unless, i'm able to reach level 20 first since mine is the trial version.

Christmas Spirit in WOW

Yeah, probably why you never saw me on Xbox Live yesterday (and probably today) lol.
I was really afraid of trying it out at first, because i'm right... now i'm absolutely hooked.
Currently i'm an Undead Mage... my next character would be Blood Elf!

And damn, X'mas is in less than a week's time :(

My Rockband set not cool enough..

Got a couple of my friends over for dinner... Seems like the RB set was the main attraction and not me XD And i was really glad that one of my close friend decided to turn up despite all the misunderstandings in the past :)

I need RB2. The cymbals are amazing!!! But it's also going to cost an unemployed a whole lot of damage lol. And if you look closely, you realize i try to sound proof my drumsticks with tissue paper.. so cheapo right?! Haha, at the end of the day, there was pieces of tissue paper everywhere =/

I love singing Creep by Radiohead.
Now i've psychoed a few people to get Xbox360.. GO GET IT! MS should hire me man, and i get referrer fee! XDDDD

Saturday Morning Blues

Fable 2 DLC - Knothole Island will be released on the 22nd of December. Yup, it has been delayed again lol.


New map, new characters, new monsters. Not too sure how huge is Knothole Island though.. and i wonder if Lionhead studios did anything to tweak the co-op experience? 800 ms points. Nope, not gonna get it since i've sold my game long ago with no intention to play this lol.

Anyway, i've added some RSS feeds into my blog... so now you guys can just look at the right column for the latest updates. Hope my blog isn't too cluttered up.

And... i need to get a new game! I've got nothing much to play with so yesterday i bought quite a number of books and magazines to read. Hope some reading will keep me and my mind busy..

Zouk. Love the colors, believe it or not, it was my first time there. And now i'm a little deaf as i was right infront of the woofer all the time. Plus, the place, was jam pack with people. JAMMED PACKED. And everyone kept crossing infront of me, stepping on to my toes/shoes, and i was squashed. Imagine if there was an emergency, i would probably have died due to stampede. Anyway, i didn't find that Jap DJ too good. Only got a glimpse of him when we were about to leave. Sure he had the stage presence, but his music? Beat not consistent, not enough flow during transition from songs to songs =/

No, i'm not a clubber. I've only been to clubs twice this year.. ok? And i don't exactly enjoy going to that kind of place.. only when i'm very down.

Damn, i missed the local Team Fortress 2 match today :(
Wasted, it's been so long since i played the game.. and it was my first 360 game lol.

O_O the drums are simply jaw-dropping can?!
And check out the track list here. Not that i know many of the songs but that's a long list with some familiar artist lol (like Linkin Park lolwtf).

Closer view... Awesome looking right?! Shit, now i'm really planning to sell away my RB1 drum set to get this. Maybe i'll do an open bid for it, and start the bid from S$10 instead of S$1(if not it'll take forever). =/

Anyway, thanks Niezzy, NewBornFlasH and knightsljx for playing L4D with me the last 2 times lol. It was great fun and i finally got my cr0wnd achievement accidentally and unexpectedly! LOL :D

Left 4 Dead review 6/10 - Digital Life

BIG HUH?!

Why a freaking 6 out of 10 only? Well, those who have not bought the game yet but have been asking me 'how is it', i say throw Digital Life (today's issue) into the bin. The reviewer doesn't even know the difference between a hunter and a smoker -_-"

What more he complains about it being boring, 20 maps only etc, not as 'cheap' as Team Fortress.. but hello, if you compare the price of L4D to other games, it's not as expensive compared to COD4/5 or Gears! I've completed Chapter 1 twice today and noooo, i'm not bored of it yet =p (and i was playing the game for almost 3 hours a moment ago).

IF you're already planning to sell L4D, i'll try not to stop you lol. Just make sure that you gave all difficulties a shot. And make sure that you've not been playing with bots/coms. No close buddy to play with? At least play it with people from your friend list :p you'll be surprised how much more fun it'll be even though you don't know each other personally lol.

I'll give L4D 8/10 :) did i mention my rating before? can't remember..
Well, maybe it's just me (and i'm no zombie lover), and maybe it's just that Straits Times reviewer.. perhaps he only played the game for 10 mins and came up with the review in 10 mins! XD (hunter yanking/dragging survivor into pool of zombies? wow, someone's been watching too much animal planet/national geographic tv!)
