BIG HUH?!
Why a freaking 6 out of 10 only? Well, those who have not bought the game yet but have been asking me 'how is it', i say throw Digital Life (today's issue) into the bin. The reviewer doesn't even know the difference between a hunter and a smoker -_-"
What more he complains about it being boring, 20 maps only etc, not as 'cheap' as Team Fortress.. but hello, if you compare the price of L4D to other games, it's not as expensive compared to COD4/5 or Gears! I've completed Chapter 1 twice today and noooo, i'm not bored of it yet =p (and i was playing the game for almost 3 hours a moment ago).
IF you're already planning to sell L4D, i'll try not to stop you lol. Just make sure that you gave all difficulties a shot. And make sure that you've not been playing with bots/coms. No close buddy to play with? At least play it with people from your friend list :p you'll be surprised how much more fun it'll be even though you don't know each other personally lol.
I'll give L4D 8/10 :) did i mention my rating before? can't remember..
Well, maybe it's just me (and i'm no zombie lover), and maybe it's just that Straits Times reviewer.. perhaps he only played the game for 10 mins and came up with the review in 10 mins! XD (hunter yanking/dragging survivor into pool of zombies? wow, someone's been watching too much animal planet/national geographic tv!)
Sorry, but i've been too lazy to try out PS3 Home.. too lazy to switch the cables :x
The beta code expires in 31st Dec (instead of Nov, i've got another code!). After playing so much Xbox360, i don't think i'll get used to the light weight PS3 controllers.. which i do not like to use =/

Juz bought the game alongside Red Alert 3... thnx to the EA promo... my defences became defenseless...
Anyway, can I control every of the characters in single player...??? some ways for me to call them to my rescue...??? Cuz I gt so fed up with them being so engrossed in fighting that they've forgotten all abt me being stranded by the damn smoker, leaving me to die...
I've repeated Blood Harvest's last act 3 times b4 passing it...phew...
I was so close to completing the last act on the 2nd attempt, but I decided to heal my teammate Zoey n eventually got pulled away by a damn smoker... guess what... they left me stranded there being raped by dozens of undead... hahaha...

When i play most of the time the coms are quite pro though lol.. which difficulty level are you playing? lol.. from what i know there isn't a way to call them to your rescue, but when you're being attacked by an infected, usually your team mates will know as you'll be shouting and all lol. They probably will not help you when they're busy trying to get the undead off themselves before getting to you :x
Which was why i emphasized, play with friends XD
man.. i suck at zombie killing... lol... Normal difficulty only hahaha... I always run away for Tank while shooting at it, but without fail, he always send me on flight mode hahaha... I was often forgotten by my team...sadz... I was caught by smoker in between 2 train carts...while the zombies feasted on me...I was incapitated from full health... b4 they realised I was there....dying... lolz
I tot the witch was cool, kinda eerie, I always slow down n keep my eyes peeled for it when i heard the cries, she's a tough nut to crack, a few rd of direct hit from the shotgun or even 2 headshots from sniper rifle won't kill her...
lol.. i guess you were at the wrong place at the wrong time then XD
Oh yar, i recently learnt from someone whom i was playing with on how to take down the witch.. crouch down and move towards her from behind with a shotgun, move as close as you can without her noticing you, aim at her head and you should get an achievement for the 1 hit kill. I've yet to pass on that though.. i always panic when she looks back at me lol!
